Every believer in Christ as Lord shall, according to the bible, be baptized in water (Mark 16:16). This should be done as soon as possible after making a personal commitment to faith in Him. Water baptism is a public acknowledgement and an outward sign to the world of the work that Jesus Christ has done in the heart of a new believer.
