Our Vision

Locally we support those in our church family who are struggling financially or in need of food or services at their homes. Food vouchers, monetary gifts and help with home improvements or other needs is available for church family members.

Around our local community we work to extend the love of God through works of service. Our LifeLine outreach ministry team has helped with disaster relief, food distribution and gifts of love to first responders, extended care facilities and others during the pandemic of 2020-22.

We also support the ministry of CEF, Child Evangelism Fellowship both financially and in practical ways.  Most notably we sponsor a local GOOD NEWS CLUB, which ministers to students from a nearby public elementary school  Dedicated church team members come weekly, during the school year, to help form a foundation of faith in an atmosphere of God’s love, in the lives of K-5 students.

Family Life, in addition to providing direct support and relief to single mothers and families in need, supports the efforts locally of the Life Choices Center located in Binghamton. Life Choices provides support and information to women and men in crisis family situations and offers programs to help parents choose love!

Local Missions

Around New York State and the United States our church family supports the efforts of Samaritan’s Purse as they bring practical expressions of God’s love through a variety of outreaches. Family Life team members have participated in numerous disaster relief efforts over the years across the United States.  In addition, Family Life often provides financial support to assist in the delivery of other Samaritan’s Purse efforts that we are not directly involved in.

Around the United States

When it comes to the world, Family Life is financially committed to the training of ministers and missionaries to establish churches that can bring the Good News to their culture.  Pastor Joe Coudriet is a board member of Nations 180, a ministry that plants churches, equips and trains ministers and aggressively publishes faith-filled reading material in the French language.   With bible training schools in Haiti, France, Quebec Canada and the French speaking nations of Africa, their reach (and consequently ours) is extensive. Who would have thought that a local church in upstate New York could help equip ministers and churches in Eastern Europe and the near east of Asia?  Through financial partnership with Rick Renner Ministries we are able to do just that.  From their home base in Tulsa Oklahoma and their home church located in Moscow, Russia, Rick and Denise Renner and team have established a network of hundreds of local churches throughout the former Soviet Union and a television and internet following that can reach nearly 350,000,000 people each week.

Our Projects

In an effort to reach the hundreds of homes and thousands of people living within 5 miles of Family Life we are creating a Community Room on campus which will be open to all.  The recent pandemic drove people apart, isolating them and many from the interaction that all humans require.  Our Community Room will be part coffee shop, part small group haven, part respite for moms in need of a place to gather with others with their kids out of the house and much more.

It will include a coffee/juice bar, seating and seating groupings for small groups and individuals…even students desiring a place to study.  This effort is now under construction and when completed, is expected to be valued at nearly $100,000 with the funds and the people power coming predominantly from the church family.  When completed the facility will be staffed by trained Family Life team members using the gifts that God has given them to minister to others.
